Mrs. Christmas's shout rings through the magical forest of Northwood - the Elf Tree is asleep! Biegga and his friends must reveal the secret of the Queen of the Midnight Sun to save the future of Korvatunturi - the home of Father Christmas.

The midnight sun is keeping Biegga the husky awake. In the quiet hours of the night, he hears stubborn hiccups and finds a sauna elf called Grim in the neighbouring forest. The elf tells the husky about a secret magical forest - Northwood - and the Elf Tree turning black. Biegga can smell a new adventure coming.

Biegga is accompanied on his magical journey by the peppery Grim, a size-changing sage elf, and the husky's old friend, a pert Siberian jay called Miss Shiny, known for her stunning tail feathers. On their journey they meet the residents of Father Christmas's home fell Korvatunturi, get to know the guardians of the seasons, and try to make themselves heard by the mossy-eared peeves.

Biegga and the Secret in the Nightless Night tells the old Finnish tale of the origin of elves. The second, independent story in the Biegga and the Guardians of the Seasons series is a gentle tale of loneliness and a parent's love, and it shines some midnight light on the special beings of the north.

Biegga and the Secret of the Nightless Night is written by Annika Welling and illustrated by Miia Taivalkoski.
