The Jesus And Mary Chain were one of the most important, not to mention legendary British bands of the '80s and '90s. The influence of the band led by the multi talented Reid brothers Jim and William can be seen and heard in numerous other bands, even though the Mary Chain themselves never managed to reach the level of success they aimed for during the band's existence - or the posthumous recognition they deserve. The Jesus And Mary Chain were destined to become cult heroes.
Psychotic Chain Reaction is the first exhaustive over view of the band's career. It is unofficial and unauthorized but based on information given by the band and associates in interviews over the years. The text originally appeared in two consecutive issues of Finnish record collectors' special magazine "Pop-lehti". A longer version was later published as a book, which has now been translated from Finnish to English by the author himself.
